“Going Green” This means that any recyclable container you bring to the field must leave with you. AND REMEMBER - NO SEEDS AT ANY FIELD!
Since the forming of the Berkley Dads' Club in 1948, a lot has changed. The earliest programs included basketball, wrestling, hockey and boxing. Today’s Dads' Club now focuses on prividing recreational baseball to over 900 boys and girls covering 2 seasons - Summer and Fall..
The Berkley Dads' Club relies solely on volunteers to serve as managers, coaches, and on its Board of Directors.
Funding for the Organization is provided through player contract fees, sponsor fees, the annual fund-raisers, and through private donations (that are not politically or commercially motivated) and through the proceeds from the Annual Summer Classic Tournaments.
Throughout its history, the Dads' Club has worked with the City of Berkley and its Parks and Recreation Department to improve the recreational facilities used by its members.
In the future, the Dads' Club will continue to work with the City to achieve its goal of giving the youth of this Community the finest baseball program in the area.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the City of Berkley Parks and Recreation Department for all their help and cooperation over the years.
NEW - The Dads' Club is recommending that players bring their own, properly fitted batting helmets to practices and games. While we will continue providing teams with these, it is the best way insure proper fit and safety for your child.
NOTE The Board and General Membership meets on the first Wednesday of each month, August through May, 7:00 PM at the Berkley Community Center. These meetings are open to all members - parents, coaches, umpires and managers.
